    Good starting hand in that I split Rich Earth and Young Treant so I can gamble for birds next turn (assuming he doesn't put much pressure on me). Ideally I'd have the Panda to play next turn as a fallback.
    This is a pretty straightforward play for me. I'm not going to play aggressively into purple starter with my deck and no prospector. This game is going to be won on economy.

    It's great that I can pressure his opening... oh well. On the assumption that he's teching birds or bargain, I'm angling towards a turn 4 attack with max oni, soldiers, plasmo, and a stewardess to bounce something. Big picture, if I tech double stewardess first it keeps me open - I can go Peace or the same line as our first game, where I desperately fought off his hordes until Past T3. If I do the latter, I'll certainly make some better tech choices...

    I just edited my turn to point out that I made a worker. My hand size and summary reflected that I did, but it wasn't listed in my actions.

    After RACE completes, I'm going to re-construct this match (and the other CASS match) on the new forums. Unless the match finishes before then ::crossed fingers::

    Hopefully @Beak-Or has not completely vanished from the Codex scene, and will return.

    there's a tried and true method in the PbP community:

    step 1) make finals of a tournament EricF runs
    step 2) vanish
