    Man just like last game, none of my 1-drops and nothing good as a single unit. Don't feel like Jail is worth against black until later, would rather not cede tempo, so Oni it is.

    So havent played a ton of black, and also havent played against a lot of blue.

    Bigsby and Law would be tough, the control would prevent me from going Demonology units very well, and Im afraid of getting community serviced on a big demon. Disease seems like it could play well against Truth, as all the runes would be targeting. Necromancy doesnt seem super strong here, though could maybe work as a counter to Law to continue to keep units on the board evne if I go down on hand or get censorship counciled.

    Against Peace sarge/garrision machine, I think Vandy + demonology spells would be about the only thing I could try? Maybe a necromancy machine? Disease and anti-rune him?

    Either way I think with Garth and Vandy being able to cheat in spells/units, I have enough tricks to keep in it!

    Jandra, big baddie. Looks like I'm committing to hitting stuff with Oni so bring in Flagbearer and a Boot Camp to help draw it if need be. I'm vulnerable to doom Grasp so hopefully I get my flagbearer before he gets his doom. I can tech another one next turn if needed.

    Hmm an early maxband oni is not going to do well for me. Garth has some options to limit him, but he also could have newsman or a flagbearer to spot doom grasp. Nether drain would let me put Oni down, but I risk letting him get the 3 soliders twice with it. Ill have to kill oni to make that work. Would give me to free levels and potentiall cheat another unit in

    This feels reckless skipping a worker, but I want the extra card so I don't have to dig as hard for Art of War. I should be able to make up the econ disadvantage by just killing stuff anyway (hopefully). He's able to kill Oni still barely if he's holding Sac the Weak to ice Newsman AND Doom Grasp, but he'd have to skip worker too and I could kill Garth in reply with soldiers. So that wouldn't be the worst.

    Guess I won't have to anyway!

    Blue tricks! Glad I didn't worker MTruth, I get a good board advantage this way and keep him from Doom grasping. I'll art of war next turn perhaps straight to base (not sure if it's too early for that), depends on what he does!

    Time to claw back, hopefully free speech + mind control + mirrors can stall out to build my tech 3 and then I can end it with Gryphons!! It's about my only shot, luckily him going tech 2 / 3 isn't a major threat to that plan or the Oni art of war backup plan (it is a threat to soldiers, I need to worker like crazy to thin this deck out).

    Not sure if skipping tech 2 was smart or not, but now he can only attack with Bigsby and I'll have a handful of attackers to do dmg next turn. He could arrest one of my tech 1 or injuction me with Bigsby out, which would suck, but I think I could still do some dmg with heroes and Imp or spells. I doubt he has more than 1 tech 2 unit in hand, so should be anything too big and nasty on the way. Reteller would be a pain, but if he has Macc and plays it ill do my damnedest to clear it out

    Best I could do I think. Tech lab is interesting. Illusions cant take runes with macciatus being there, so I cant see a sarge buff strategy being super strong. Garrison would be a bitch, but hopefully I stopped that for now. Had to get bigsby and Quince off the board to stop free speech or injuction. Oni doesnt scare me a ton at this point. Think I got a good shot here!

    Well fuck! I even patrol technician AND lawful search to try and get the damn arrest that I knew I would need if he killed newsman, and I don't get it! Now I see his hand is kill Oni directily, or kill Oni through my patrol, and I'm just screwed no matter what! AGH HOW DO I BLUE??!

    I guess what I'll do is try to just race out my tech 2 and hope I get a mean garrison machine up fast enough to beat Vandy? Not going to be easy... Next turn I spose I tech Garrison and like a Hound? I really have no idea, I'm so lost in this matchup...

    Well I got a hero! One less Metamorphed Demon to worry about. I teched in garrison and mind control to grab a crow if he gets one out, that'll help me finish off metamorphs.     Again, he's got no cards so I think this is game. He can Mirror up, Hero up, but it doesnt really matter as Im holding death and decay. Heroes total dmg = 15. Even if he could stop 1 with detector (which is unlikely since I have 2 other attackers nd D&D would wipe + another 3 dmg)

    I think this is my best opening yet! Nothing he can Punish easily, no STW on Pig, no Deteriorate on Cop. He's kind of forced to hang back this time! Likely I get an imp to the face but that's fine, I probably want Quince out next turn and to tech Free Speech + Something, maybe injunction? Maybe both free speech?

    About the best opening yet from him. Cant kill Porker, so this si about the best I could think of. He can Porker or arrest the Rouge, then kill with cop if he wants, but if I leave Prouge out of squad lead he could smack her anyway so seems like a toss up

    Hmm I could have attacked with a second skele, but if he has arrest/M.Truth in hand that could give him a free kill on Garth. Leaving 1 skele in patrol is safer.

    Fuck stupid haunt killing my porky! I needed him dammit!

    Well I need arrest and MTruth in the same hand to do anything resembling a decent trade early game, so I guess I keep trying to stall? Although to what I'm stalling I have no idea, I still don't see where my win condition is... Law tech 3? I suppose my next techs will be GatG, Censorship, and Gryphon? Maybe 2x GatG or insurance agent?
